This unit tends to define what a good essay is after reviewing what we have learned in the previous 4 unites. The talks about what we should pay attention to while organizing a academic writing benefit me a lot. In the future, I may try to add an introduction of structure about the whole writing that I would be writing and check the link between different parts of the passage.
I think I should relisten this unit several times to consolidate the knowledge I have learned to write a good essay.

In this lesson, I think the features of British academic writing would consist by: 1.explore about its structure and purpoes. 2 write it directly 3. uses sentence connect to show the relationship between ideas. and etc. And also I think the tutors are looking for a good easy with well organize, critical thinking, topic sentence in each paragraph and develop the essay logically. For me, my essay seems to be too conversational and I should well organize my ideas next time.

Compared to the features listed in the Reviewing British rhetorical style page,
the Japanese writing style tends to be more indirect, more reader-responsible, and does not always have one main idea in each paragraph.

After what we have been stadied for 4 week. Generlly my writing skill is better than before.But I find I still have a problem about developing a clear structure.Sometimes I can not explain my idear very clear and my structure is lack of logic.Logic is a significant component of a good esssay.

After 4 weeks studying,i improved my writting skill more or less, but still have different problems. While i focused on STYLE, i will ignore the grammer, the grammer have been noticed, the problem of plura occured immediately, i think all i could do just to learn and practise, hope i can do this job well someday.

The first 4 weeks, I improved my writting skill especially style, however I still have many problems in writing. As Janelle said, while I focuse on plural or singular form, I completely forget articles and I point out these points, I tend to make grammer mistakes. I strongly believe that I should recheck my essays over and over again before hading in them.

From this unit I learn a lot about how to make a good essay. I think what I need to do is try to make less grammar firstly and pay more attention to the academic writing points while I am writing at the meantime.
